2. Close the Eclipse client service completely

IF YOU ARE RECEIVING THIS ERROR AFTER A MIGRATION OR SERVER CHANGE:

Check that the old SQL instance name and the new one are the same. If not, you will need to rerun the SQL and Docstar installer. You can also change the dbo.companyinstance table in Astria_Host to reflect the new name.

update dbo.companyinstance

set Server='(local)\DocstarECM'

IF YOU ARE RECEIVING THIS ERROR AFTER A MIGRATION OR SERVER CHANGE AND ONLY SOME USERS ARE RECEIVING THE MESSAGE:

Open the eclipse client application in the systray and go to login tab and configure service tab and change the user name to another valid user, Save or reconnect then log back in as the original user and save. If that does not work, stop Eclipse Automation service, close Eclipse app in the systray, delete Eclipse folder in the %appdata% and %TEMP% files then do a complete clearing of the cache.
