Description: Docstar Client is connected, scanner is in the drop down, but you still cannot scan. Your client is likely connected to the wrong PC.

Solution: If you use more than one computer to log into Docstar, you more or less have more than one client to log into. Unfortunately, the client stays logged into the last station you were on.


To fix this, or even check, you should know the name of the PC you're on.

You can find this by Right Clicking "My PC" or "My Computer" in a File Explorer and going to Properties. This will give you your PC Name. 



Then you will need to go to Capture and click "Docstar Client Connected". A New popup will come up and just choose the client that is associated with your computer you're on.
