Solution:
It is possible to set users up with access to Eclipse/Docstar from home.
It is web based, so there is no installing, except the client - which is simply done on the Capture tab.
Everything else should/needs to be set up with your IT. Users will need either:
VPN - Virtual private network
SSL Cert - Secure Sockets Layer (A cert for the whole company)
RDP - Remote Desktop Protocol (having a computer logged in at the office that the user can remote into and process their work)
