Description: How to create printer so it redirects to RPM.

Software Versions Affected:  RPM (all)

Solution:

https://www.brooksnet.com/creating-windows-lpr-printer-rpm (article doesn't mention which driver to use, but see instructions below)

FYI - After you add a printer, you can change all its properties (including its driver) after the fact through 'configure port'.

1. Add new printer - HP 4500 PCL 6 (you might have to download from HP website if the OS doesn't list it)

2. Go to its Printer properties

3. Give it IP address of RPM server

4. Set the LPR queue name to match the RPM queue name
